We offer activities for boys, girls and all young people from age 5 to 25 years old.
Youth members are broken up into five age based sections, starting with Joey Scouts at 5 years old and going through to Rover Scouts who finish up at 25.
Absolutely! Prospective members are welcome to come and try Scouts 3 times before the need to register as a member - the trial is free*.
Please reach out to us to organise a trial so we can arrange a night for you to attend (please don't attend without organising a trial first!)
* During the free trial, additional costs may occur if the meeting night is an activity where all members would need to pay, for example rock climbing.
If you are interested in joining the group, please get in touch via our contact page. Following a free trial if you decide to sign up as a member, an application form will be sent to you to fill in to register as a member and an invoice for fees will be issued.
Our fees are made up of an annual membership fee, a term based fee and an initial registration fee. Details on what these fees cover and there current price are listed below.
We are a non-profit, volunteer run organisation, and as the membership fees alone do not cover all of our expenses, we also engage in various fundraising activities to keep fees as affordable as possible.
Please note the Scouts Victoria Registration fee is non-refundable, but membership is transferable to other Scout Groups in Victoria.
For those interested in becoming a Scout leader within the group, a discount applies to your children's fees.

Scouts operates as a volunteer organisation, and it's expected that parents participate in running the Group. Various opportunities exist to contribute, such as taking on section Leader/ assistant Leader roles, joining the committee, attending working bees, participating in fundraising such as BBQs, among other activities. Our leaders are typically parents, balancing full-time jobs and active family lives. Without these dedicated volunteers, our Scout group wouldn't be able to operate.
